Membership

You have been identified as a potential future member of our exclusive group, “The Lab – Sophomore Class of 2023.” Previous Freshmen have from July 1-July 9th to secure their renewal. On July 10th 2023, we will begin to offer any vacant spots to our wait list in numerical order until we reach capacity.

Official Membership Terms and Details

Duration: Membership in the “The Lab” begins on August 1, 2023 pending your acceptance of this invitation and payment being rendered via the payment portal (link will be sent within 24 hours of your response to the renewal email). Membership will last one calendar year from start date. Brewlihan reserves the right to extend the membership terms, and if necessary, to provide members with any membership inclusive items outlined below in this document.

Membership Fee: $325 (plus any applicable taxes/fees)
Membership Includes:

Six (6) member exclusive bottles of mead (375mL)
First and Second Chance on all non-member releases
One (1) – “The Lab – Freshman Class” T-Shirt
One (1) – “The Lab – Freshman Class” Taster Glass
Access to member-only Facebook Group
10% off select tasting room purchases (session mead, crowler fills, merchandise)
Opportunity to assign a proxy for bottle pick up
Private bottle share events / preview tastings
Ability to rent out our tasting room for private events
First Opportunity for Renewal for the Junior Year
Member ticket to Graduation

Our goal is to create one of the top tier memberships in the nation. We STILL believe that your satisfaction as members is our first priority. To ensure this, we aim to be very transparent about what you can expect from us. Please see below for a comprehensive list of what you can expect from us, as well as what we expect from our valued members.

Brewlihan Assurances:

We promise to continue to listen and build our group around the feedback that you provide. “Low ego, high confidence.” Perfection is our aspiration, but it isn’t realistic. When we face challenges, we will confront with respectful, open dialogue that aims to keep you informed.
All aforementioned items (see “Membership Includes” section) will be provided to members prior to the close of the initial year of the membership.
Member exclusive bottles will never be sold to the public. We reserve the right to pour them at festivals, special events, or a member only tap line in the tasting room.
Purchases reserved for pick-up via member or assigned proxy at the tasting room, located 3472 NE 5th Ave – Unit 1 – Oakland Park, FL 33334 must be picked up within 21 days. Please understand, we have a very small footprint and are unable to provide long- term storage. Bottles not claimed within the window will be forfeited.
Communication will be clear and consistent via email and the Facebook group. All announcements of events, membership bottles, public releases, etc will be made using both modalities.
We reserve the right to revoke a membership or deny renewal of future membership at any time at our sole discretion.

Member Assurances:

One person per membership (not household). Memberships may be split, with one member acting as the primary member. In this case, the primary member only will be the recipient of the “Membership Includes” section.
Members and proxies must be 21 years of age at the time of entering this agreement and have a valid government-issued picture ID reflecting this.
Members should maintain a current and active email account. Members will make effort to ensure that email is not disposed or directed into a spam folder.
Members that opt to join the private Facebook are expected to interact in a manner that is conducive to civility.
