We’re now extending invitations to potential future members of our exclusive group, “The Lab – Senior Class of 2025-2026.”  Our currently enrolled Juniors retain the first rights to renewal starting on July 1 and concluding on July 14^th at 5PM EDT.

On July 14^th, we will begin to offer any vacated spots to our wait list in numerical order until we reach capacity. 

Official Membership Terms and Details

Duration: Membership in the “The Lab” begins on August 1, 2025. Membership will last one calendar year from start date.  Brewlihan reserves the right to extend the membership terms, and if necessary, to provide members with any membership inclusive items outlined below in this document.

Membership Fee: $300 (plus any applicable taxes/fees)

Membership Includes (Items that are bolded and asterisked indicate new changes for Senior Year)

• Six (6) member exclusive bottles of Barrel Aged mead (375mL)
• **Each Member Bottle will have at least one variant that are selected by a member (members picked via random selector tool)**
• First Opportunity on all non-member limited releases
• **Collaborator Level batches in excess of 100 bottles will be made available using Random (bottle count will be posted in advance)**
• One (1) – “The Lab – Senior Class” T-Shirt
• One (1) – “The Lab – Senior Class” Taster Glass
• Access to member-only Facebook Group
• 10% off on-site tasting room purchases
• Opportunity to assign a proxy for bottle pick up
• Quarterly private bottle share events / preview tastings
• Ability to rent out our tasting room for private events
• First Opportunity for Renewal for Master’s Degree Year

Optional Membership Perks:

• Ability to purchase additional shirts, bottles from previous membership years

Our goal from 2022 has been to create one of the top tier memberships in the nation.  We STILL believe that your satisfaction as members is our first priority.  We listened, we learned.   We will continue to improve thanks to the understanding that you are the reason why this club exists. To ensure this, we aim to be very transparent about what you can expect from us.  Please see below for a comprehensive list of deliverables, as well as what we expect from our valued members.

Brewlihan Assurances:

1. We promise to continue to listen and build our group around the feedback that you provide.  “Low ego, high confidence.”  Perfection is our aspiration, but it isn’t realistic.  When we face challenges, we will confront with respectful, open dialogue that aims to keep you informed. 
2. All aforementioned items (see “Membership Includes” section) will be provided to members prior to the close of the initial year of the membership.
3. Member exclusive bottles will never be sold to the public. We reserve the right to pour them at festivals, special events, or a member only tap line in the tasting room.
4. Purchases reserved for pick-up via member or assigned proxy at the tasting room, located 3472 NE 5^th Ave – Unit 1 – Oakland Park, FL 33334 must be picked up within 21 days. Please understand, we have a very small footprint and are unable to provide long-term storage.  Bottles not claimed within the window will be subject to a late pickup charge of $10 per bottle.  Temperature Controlled Storage options are available for bottles at a cost of $50 per year.
5. Communication will be clear and consistent via email and the Facebook group. All announcements of events, membership bottles, public releases, etc will be made using both modalities.
6. We reserve the right to revoke a membership or deny renewal of future membership at any time at our sole discretion.

Member Assurances:

1. One person per membership (not household). Memberships may be split, with one member acting as the primary member.   In this case, the primary member only will be the recipient of the “Membership Includes” section.
2. Members and proxies must be 21 years of age at the time of entering this agreement and have a valid government-issued picture ID reflecting this.
3. Members should maintain a current and active email account. Members will make effort to ensure that email is not disposed or directed into a spam folder.  It is your responsibility to keep yourself informed. 
4. Members that opt to join the private Facebook are expected to interact in a manner that is conducive to civility.
